ERMI-Xtended
Your choice of ERMI analysis + MoldNDX Environmental Interpretation Report
ERMI-Xtended combines the ERMI laboratory analysis you select with MoldNDX, an advanced environmental reporting system that organizes the ERMI data from the same submitted dust sample into five visual indicators for a broader view of mold burden patterns.
Choose Your ERMI Analysis
- ERMI — standard 36-species ERMI MSQPCR analysis
- ERMI+3 — ERMI panel plus three additional targets
- ERMI-XL — expanded ERMI panel
MoldNDX is included with every ERMI-Xtended option. No additional sample is required.

How MoldNDX Works
MoldNDX uses the ERMI results generated from the same submitted sample. MoldNDX is not a separate molecular assay; it is an analytical reporting layer applied to the ERMI laboratory data.
Sample Type
Accumulated dust collected with the supplied sampling material. Vacuum sampling is also available as an optional collection method.
Dust Quantity
Lis Biotech can accurately process samples containing as little as 1 mg of dust. For MSQPCR testing, 5 mg or more is recommended when possible.
Laboratory Turnaround Time
Same Day · 1 Day · 2 Day · 3 Day · 5 Day
Laboratory processing time begins when the sample is received by Lis Biotech. Shipping and transit time are not included in the selected laboratory turnaround time.
Optional Endotoxin
Endotoxin analysis can be added during product selection.
About MoldNDX
MoldNDX was developed by Larry Schwartz and is offered by Lis Biotech under authorization.
Important Information
ERMI-Xtended and MoldNDX are environmental laboratory and analytical tools. MoldNDX is not a medical diagnosis, does not by itself determine the source of an environmental condition, and does not replace an environmental inspection or moisture evaluation. The selection of testing services is the responsibility of the customer or the environmental professional directing the testing. Environmental or health significance should be discussed with an appropriately qualified professional.
